Team Leader Expectations

We cannot do this without you, nor do we want to! We are excited to have you on the Team and we are honored to lead shoulder to shoulder with you.   

Our Commitment to you:   

1. Prayer. For you, your family and your ministry. Leadership can present all kinds of challenges. We will stand in the gap!   

2. Communication. We will communicate information in a timely manner, share any changes, and work to build communication lines with the “local church”..  

3. Leadership Training. “Things which do not grow and change are dead things.”― Louise Erdrich. We desire that you and your ministry thrive. Opportunities will be created and training will be provided to help each of us grow in our leadership capacity.   

4. Team Building. We are better together! Opportunities will be provided for women to jump in, use their gifts for the glory of God, and serve the women of GA.   

Our Expectations of Team Leaders:   

1. Prayer. We covet your prayer for women across the state, your local section, and the leadership you serve alongside and under.  

2. Communication. We ask that you serve as a liaison between the district office and the local churches helping us to build the lines of communication. Staying informed is key. Please check emails, join our Facebook Group for the leadership team, check the website, and reach out with any questions you may have. 

   We will have three Zoom calls to connect, give information and plan for upcoming events. Please commit to join us.  (All dates are on the annual calendar) 

3. Connect. Please reach out to the local church. Connect with the women’s ministry director and the Pastors Wives once a quarter.  

4. Serve. We are a team. We set the stage for God to move. We ask that you commit to serve at the UNITE: Conference as well as host one local section event.  

5. Team Build. Ministry is more fun when we don’t go it alone. Bring people along in serving your section events as well as the Unite conference. So many women are looking for a place to belong and their giftings to be utilized.
