Our Team
Kristi Steffens
Kristi Steffens is the Women’s Ministry Director for the Georgia District of the Assemblies of God and serves as Event Coordinator at Evangel Church in Columbus, Georgia. A graduate of Southwestern University, Kristi has dedicated her life to empowering women to experience the freedom and fullness found in Christ. Her ministry journey has included roles such as Director of Operations for Calcutta Mercy Ministries under Huldah Buntain, serving at Teen Challenge, and pastoring Business Administration at The Church at the Groves.
As a mother of four daughters—Aniston, Avery, Ayden, and Abi—Kristi’s life is marked by joy, laughter, and an open heart for others. She believes revival begins when everyday women fall in love with Jesus, listen to the Holy Spirit, and embrace His redemptive love. Kristi’s passion is to see brokenness restored, lives transformed, and women stepping boldly into their Kingdom calling.
Sherry Griffith
Sherry Griffith, originally from Alabama, serves as [Assistant Women’s Ministry Director] for the Georgia District of the Assemblies of God. With over three decades of experience in church ministry and church planting across Georgia, Illinois, and Indiana, she has dedicated her life to ministry development, marketing, and supporting others in their calling.
Sherry is blessed with two daughters, a son-in-law, and two grandchildren who bring joy to her life. She is passionate about helping women embrace the courage to step into their God-given purpose, no matter the season. Sherry firmly believes that God uses every experience—the good and the challenging—to create a beautiful tapestry for His glory.
She faithfully attends Evangel Church in Columbus, Georgia, and continues to serve God with enthusiasm and joy, inspiring others to do the same.
